our team

Supporting your home is a privilege.

There’s nothing more personal than the private place where we live, work, unwind, play, and celebrate, and of all the spaces we experience, you deserve to love your home the most.

The Clutter Curator was founded to help busy people achieve and enjoy a well-organized life. Through the 10 years we’ve been in business, we’re proud to have served thousands of happy clients and thriving households.

Meet the founder

Sarah Parisi

Moving from city to city and surviving 8 hectic years of life in NYC, I can honestly say I’ve lived everything I preach.

I’ve decluttered every corner of my life from relationships to jobs and possessions to thoughts. I’ve traveled the world to see how others live happily with so much less, and I’ve learned that the secret to peace isn’t fancy systems or more stuff. It’s appreciating and enjoying all we already possess.

I worked with an amazing life coach who taught me to let go of the non-physical clutter and after having huge success in my personal life, I was inspired to share that freedom with my clients.

Informed by my background in interior design, project management, and life coaching, I have a innate skillset to make the act of decluttering approachable, attainable, and dare I say fun. I’m energized by shifting habits that no longer serve us, finding new ways to use space, and reshaping expectations around the way our homes should feel.

LET’s TALK

We’d be honored to help turn your dream home into a reality.

  • Emma

    Director of Client Experience

After more than five years with The Clutter Curator, my role has evolved to include both organizing and helping manage the day-to-day operations of the business. I love being part of the continued growth while staying connected to the hands-on work of creating organized, functional spaces.

I’m passionate about collaborating with clients to achieve spaces that bring clarity, calm, and ease to everyday life. Helping client's homes feel intentional and manageable and seeing the relief that comes with it is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do!

  • Allison

I have my BFA in interior design and I have my own cleaning company. I love reading, skiing, hot yoga, woodworking/refinishing, the pool, the beach and baking with my daughter.

I organically landed in the organization industry because of my love for space planning and cleaning. I enjoy a variety of spaces to transform and appreciate each day being a different unique challenge.

In college I discovered I was really passionate about making color gradients but couldn't quite figure out how to translate that enjoyable skill into a profession. When I was referred to Sarah and her business it just clicked. I found my people and a place to apply my skills!

Everyone has clutter. The key is having a system in place for managing it. It takes time to have a tidy home and we all seemingly have less of it, so we have to use it efficiently. Happy to help. Fun fact I'm a lefty.

  • Emma C

I have had a lifelong love of organizing and reimagining spaces. I was indeed that kid who rearranged my bedroom and my closet about once a quarter, and was so proud to show my parents the whole new space I’d created. From a neatly folded stack of towels to an alphabetized spice rack, organizing any and all spaces brings me joy. I strongly value sustainability and I see my work as a way to live this value; I help clients find and use what they already have, eliminating the clutter as well as the need to purchase more because you couldn’t find that one you thought you had!

When I am not decluttering physical space, you can find me teaching a yoga class to help students declutter mental space. I also adore a long walk through Humboldt Park with my partner and our Australian Shepherd, Stella, and a stroll through the Logan Square Farmers Market.

  • Nicky

Drawing on my experience in education and my strong belief in the connection between our environments and our well-being, I’ve always been passionate about helping people feel supported, understood, and empowered. I bring that same mindset to organizing. I meet clients where they are, listen to what they need, and work alongside them to create systems that fit the way they actually live.

For me, organizing is about finding practical, sustainable solutions that make everyday life a little easier. My goal is for clients to gain a more functional space, systems they can realistically maintain, and a little more breathing room in their lives.

  • Emma N

I've always loved the feeling of creating a decluttered, stress-free, and visually appealing space. Growing up, I jumped on any opportunity to organize my sister’s closet, my aunt’s closet, my grandpa’s bookshelves, or any other space my family would let me. I understand how overwhelming clutter can feel, and I love curating spaces that are functional and beautiful at the same time.

My favorite spaces to transform are closets and dressers, because I feel like clothes are often the hardest spaces to maintain. Outside of work, you can find me training for my next marathon, traveling, or getting coffee with friends and family!

  • Katy

Katy has been part of The Clutter Curator team for more than two years and loves helping clients turn overwhelming spaces into homes that feel calmer, lighter, and easier to live in.

A longtime Chicagoan with a background in real estate, education, and professional organizing, Katy understands that our homes have to do more than look good—they have to work for the people who live in them. She especially enjoys finding simple, practical solutions that make everyday life easier and helping clients let go of the things that are no longer serving them.

Currently pursuing a degree in nursing, Katy brings the same patience, compassion, and judgment-free approach to organizing that she does to caring for others. She lives in Wrigleyville with her husband, their 150-pound Newfoundland, and two cats. In her spare time, you can find her running along the lakefront or catching a Cubs game at Wrigley Field!

  • Lindsey

This past May, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I love exploring the city, and I am so grateful to live here! My favorite thing to do is try new restaurants with friends and family — I highly recommend Gretel if you love a good burger!

I fell in love with organizing when I realized how much of an impact it can have on someone's productivity and emotional well-being. Through life's ebbs and flows, it's so lovely to have a calm space to come home to at the end of the day, so I truly enjoy helping people find that peace of mind without any judgment.

No matter how simple or complex a job is, I bring optimism to every project and love helping people transform their spaces!

  • Stef

With a career rooted in life coaching, I’ve spent years helping people create meaningful change, gain clarity, and move toward lives that feel more aligned. That same passion naturally extends into the home, where our surroundings can have such a powerful impact on how we feel every day.

As a home organizer, I bring together my experience as a life coach with my background in retail and my work as a visual artist. I see organization as more than creating order. It’s about creating spaces that support the person you are and the life you want to live.

I’m especially passionate about helping people create homes that feel calm, safe, and grounding. My creative eye helps me see the beauty and potential in a space, while my coaching background allows me to understand the personal side of letting go, making changes, and creating new rhythms.

Ultimately, I want the spaces I help create to be places where you can breathe, reset, and truly feel at home.
